Nate Meyer 1979 - 2026
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Nate Meyer, on January 19th. A cornerstone of our organization for six years, Nate left an indelible impact on all who knew him through his exceptional leadership, guidance, and friendship.
From the relocation of Reagents to our new Parrott Drive facility to every crucial aspect of our business—including supply chain, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and M&A—Nate’s hand was deeply embedded in our success. His career was defined by excellence, including his time as Chief Financial and Commercial Officer at Reliable Biopharmaceutical, leading transaction strategies for the sale to VWR/Avantor, and holding key commercial leadership roles at Thermo Fisher and STERIS Corporation. Nate earned his MBA from the University of San Francisco and a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics from Southeast Missouri State University.
Nate possessed an uncanny ability to motivate others, treating every task as critical and handling obstacles with unparalleled positivity, analytical discipline, and humanity. When you were with Nate, you believed you were going to win, regardless of the odds—an attitude he carried into his own brave battle with cancer.
While Nate is no longer with us physically, his challenge to us remains: Do our best. Engage with passion. Challenge one another. Hold ourselves to a high standard. These values are part of TCP’s soul, and it is our privilege to carry them forward in his honor.
He will be missed profoundly.
